Charitable objects
3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY (THE "OBJECTS") ARE: TO PROMOTE THE ARTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY ENCOURAGING ACCESS TO, ENGAGEMENT WITH AND PARTICIPATION AND CREATIVITY IN THE ARTS; 3.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN THE ARTS; 3.3 TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF THE WYCOMBE DISTRICT, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO A COMMUNITY CENTRE, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR RESIDENTS; 3.4 TO ADVANCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY RESOLVE FROM TIME TO TIME; AND IN THIS ARTICLE 3 "AREA OF BENEFIT" MEANS WYCOMBE DISTRICT OR SUCH OTHER GEOGRAPHICAL AREA AS THE TRUSTEES MAY SELECT FROM TIME TO TIME.
