Charitable objects
TO ASSIST: - WELSH PERSONS WHO ARE SERVING OR WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES; - PERSONS WHO ARE SERVING OR WHO HAVE SERVED IN OR WITH WELSH REGIMENTS WITHIN THE ARMED FORCES; AND - THE FAMILIES AND DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS BY THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR DISCRETION THINK FIT AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: - TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH AND EDUCATION OF AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PERSONS REFERRED TO ABOVE WHO HAVE BEEN WOUNDED OR INJURED WHILST SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES, OR OF FAMILIES AND DEPENDANTS, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES TO SUCH PERSONS (INCLUDING THE PROVISION AND/OR SUPPORT OF SCHEMES FOR THE RESETTLEMENT, REHABILITATION, RETRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OF SUCH PERSONS) AND/OR THEIR FAMILIES AND DEPENDANTS; AND - TO MAKE GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS WHO ASSIST MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR FAMILIES AND DEPENDANTS. IN THIS CLAUSE, THE FOLLOWING TERMS SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING MEANINGS: "WELSH PERSONS" SHALL MEAN PERSONS: - BORN IN WALES; - WHO ARE LIVING OR WHO HAVE AT ANY TIME LIVED IN WALES; AND - THE CHILDREN OF THOSE DEFINED IMMEDIATELY ABOVE ¶FAMILIES÷ SHALL MEAN THE SPOUSES, CIVIL PARTNERS AND MEMBERS OF THE SAME HOUSEHOLD OF THOSE DEFINED IMMEDIATELY ABOVE.
