THE OBJECTS ARE THE PROMOTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF BATTERSEA AND ITS NEIGHBOURHOOD SUCH PURPOSES AS ARE NOW OR MAY HEREAFTER BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE AND IN PARTICULAR 1) THE EFFICIENCY OF THE POLICE 2) GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND GREATER PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE PREVENTION AND SOLUTION OF CRIME 3) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE POLICE THE PROTECTION OF PEOPLE AND PROPERTY FROM, AND THE PREVENTION OF, CRIMINAL ACTS. THE TRUSTEES MUST USE THE INCOME AND MAY USE THE CAPITAL OF THE CHARITY IN PROMOTING THE OBJECTS.
