THE CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE COMPANY ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE JEWISH FAITH BY (A) THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A CENTRE AT SANDYS ROW SYNAGOGUE ("THE SYNAGOGUE") FOR RELIGIOUS WORSHIP, EDUCATION AND THE GENERATION OF PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE BOTH OF THE JEWISH RELIGION AND ITS HERITAGE TOGETHER WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER FAITHS IN THE EAST LONDON AREA, (B) TO ENSURE THE MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF THE SYNAGOGUE FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE EAST LONDON AREA, (C) TO FOSTER AND MAINTAIN GOOD AND WELL-INFORMED RELATIONS AMONG OTHER FAITHS IN THE EAST LONDON AREA, (D) TO PROVIDE AND PROMOTE SUPPORT PROJECTS TO ENHANCE GOOD RELATIONS AMONG THE DIVERSE PEOPLE OF THE EAST LONDON AREA, AND (E) TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG BOTH THE MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION OF THE SYNAGOGUE AND OTHER NEEDY PEOPLE IN THE EAST LONDON AREA THESE ARE ITS CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE 2006 ACT FOR AS LONG AS THE COMPANY IS A CHARITY, ITS PURPOSES MAY ONLY BE ALTERED WITH THE PRIOR CONSENT OF THE CHARITY COMMISSION AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANY CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO SUCH CONSENT
