Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SOMERCOTES WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE GENDER DISABILITY, RACE, ETHNIC ORIGIN, CREED, COLOUR, SOCIAL STATUS AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RELAXATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID RESIDENTS, WE WILL BE NON-POLITICAL IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION. 70% OF ACTIVITIES WILL BE GENERATED BY THE CENTRE AND FREE TO ALL
