Charitable objects
1. TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 25 LIVING IN WORCESTERSHIRE BY PROVIDING ADVICE, ASSISTANCE AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT THROUGH VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF: A. ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; B. ADVANCING EDUCATION; C. RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT; D. PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OR SUCH PERSONS. E. PROMOTING INTERGENERATIONAL ENGAGEMENT 2. TO RESEARCH INTO AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS IN WORCESTERSHIRE AND THE PUBLIC IN SUBJECTS RELATING TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND THE PROTECTION, ENHANCEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. IN PARTICULAR TO: A. TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: = THE PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT BY LEADING BY EXAMPLE IN THE PRUDENT USE OF RESOURCES; = THE PROMOTION OF, AND RESEARCH INTO, SUSTAINABLE MEANS OF ACHIEVING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND REGENERATION; = THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC RELATING TO ENVIRONMENTAL EVENTS AND THE RESULTS OF ANY STUDIES OR RESEARCH. B. TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE PROVIDING ACCESS TO INFORMATION, VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES AND TRAINING IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL SECTOR IN ADDITION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF IN HOUSE PROJECTS.' SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT MEANS "DEVELOPMENT WHICH MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE ABILITY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS." 3. TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF WORCESTERSHIRE, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS.
