The Equilibrium Foundation exists to make people's lives better, by supporting charitable causes, with a particular focus on the North West of England. We support a wide range of organisations, with a particular emphasis on education and disability charities, and on helping people experiencing all sorts of disadvantages to have better opportunities for learning and employment.

TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND OTHER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AND OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS WHICH MAY BE NOMINATED BY THE STAFF AND CLIENTS OF EQUILIBRIUM ASSET MANAGEMENT LLP. IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, TO PROMOTE OR ASSIST ANY CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OR ORGANISATIONS WHICH; 1) PROVIDE CARE OR HOUSING FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE. 2) RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS AND POOR HEALTH AMONGST ELDERLY PEOPLE. 3) RELATE TO THE PROVISION OF WELFARE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE . 4) HELP YOUNG PEOPLE TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. 5) HELP TO RELIEVE POVERTY, DISTRESS OR SUFFERING OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND 6) PROMOTE AND ASSIST THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, PREVENTION AND CURE OF CHILDHOOD ILLNESS.
