THE CHARITY MANAGES A HERITAGE VISITOR ATTRACTION COMPRISING A 19TH CENTURY BLACKSMITHS AND WHEELWRIGHTS WORKSHOP IN THE CENTRE OF WELLESBOURNE. THE YARD IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON SUMMER SATURDAYS AND TO GROUPS AT OTHER TIMES BY APPOINTMENT. THE TRUST ALSO RUNS A PROGRAMME OF SCHOOL VISITS AND VISITS TO OLD PEOPLE'S HOMES, PRESENTATIONS TO CLUBS ETC. ON THE SUBJECT OF THE YARD AND ITS HISTORY.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO PRESERVE RESTORE AND MANAGE FOR THE EDUCATION BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PEOPLE OF WELLESBOURNE IN THE COUNTY OF WARWICKSHIRE AND OF THE NATION AT LARGE WHATEVER OF THE HISTORIC HERITAGE WHICH MAY. EXIST IN AND AROUND CHEDHAMS YARD IN THE FORM OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS OR OTHER OBJECTS OF PARTICULAR HISTORICAL, HERITAGE CULTURAL OR CONSTRUCTIONAL INTEREST AND TO MAINTAIN A VISITOR EDUCATION CENTRE ON THE SAME SITE.
