Charitable objects
(1) TO ADVANCE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, EDUCATION AND TRAINING SERVICES IN THE FORM OF SKILLS FOR LIFE AND ESOL TO STUDENTS OF ALL AGES WHO ARE DISADVANTAGED, DEPRIVED OR SOCIALLY EXCLUDED RESIDING WITHIN HULL, EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE, NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE AND NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE, KNOWN AS THE HUMBER AREA; IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING BY ESTABLISHING, M MAINTAINING, CARRYING ON, MANAGING AND DEVELOPING A COMMUNITY COLLEGE OFFERING A DEFINED CURRICULUM WITH A STRONG EMPHASIS ON BUT IN NO WAY LIMITED TO SKILLS FOR LIFE AND ESOL SPECIALISMS. (2)TO CARRY OUT RESEARCH INTO THE DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF NEW TECHNIQUES IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN PARTICULAR IN RELATION TO THE AREAS OF OUR CURRICULAR SPECIALISATION AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH SO THAT OTHER COLLEGES MAY BENEFIT FROM OUR WORK IN THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR.
