TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF THE ELDERLY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE OF THE SOMALI AND OTHER AFRICAN COMMUNITIES IN LONDON BY PROVIDING, MAINTAINING AND MANAGING A DAY CENTRE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS AND OTHER LAWFUL CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR SUCH PERSONS IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION. THE AREA OF BENEFIT SHALL BE UK PARTICULARLY LONDON AND IN EAST AFRICA.
