Charitable objects

1. THE RELIEF, CARE AND TREATMENT OF PREMATURE, SICK NEW-BORN BABIES AND THEIR MOTHERS IN HARROGATE DISTRICT HOSPITAL'S MATERNITY AND SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF SPECIALISED MEDICAL OR SURGICAL EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVED AMENITIES AND FACILITIES WHICH WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE PROVIDED BY THE AUTHORITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE HOSPITAL. 2. TO SUPPORT AND ASSIST THE FAMILIES OF SUCH BABIES WHO ARE OR WHO HAVE BEEN PATIENTS OF THE UNIT.
