(A) ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION (I) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE NIGERIAN BY BIRTH OR DESCENT OR MARRIAGE OR NATURALISATION OR ADOPTION (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "NIGERIAN" PERSONS) IN OR AROUND THE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT OF LEEDS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "LEEDS"); AND (II) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC (IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD) IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF NIGERIAN CULTURE AND THE NIGERIAN PEOPLES. (B) PROVISION OF MEETING VENUES TO BENEFIT MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC OF NIGERIAN DESCENT RESIDENT IN LEEDS, WITHOUT DISTINCTION ON GROUNDS OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS IN A MEETING VENUE OR MEETING VENUES IDENTIFIED FOR SUCH PURPOSE, WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE SAID RESIDENTS (INCLUDING IN RELATION TO THE PROMOTION OF RACIAL HARMONY, AS REFERRED TO BELOW).
