1 TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR CARERS, BY FACILITATING THEIR INVOLVEMENT AND PARTICIPATION IN THE PLANNING AND DECISION MAKING STRUCTURE OF THEIR COMMUNITIES, SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS, A VOICE AND CONTROL OVER ISSUES AFFECTING THEIR LIVES 2 TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND DISADVANTAGE AMONGST MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WITH DISABILITIES, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND GUIDANCE ON WELFARE RIGHTS, HEALTH, HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY AND ORGANISATIONS REPRESENTING THEM IN THE FORM OF A CENTRE FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING (CIL) 3 TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND ADVICE TO PUBLIC AUTHORITIES ON INDEPENDANT LIVING AS ENSHRINED IN THE DDA 2005, COMMUNITY CARE ACT 1995 AND THE LIFE CHANCES STRATEGY, FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WITH HIGH LEVEL OF SUPPORT NEEDS AND THEIR CARERS, THROUGH REPRESENTATION, RESEARCH AND CONSULTANCY, SO AS TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE OBJECTIVES
