Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE:- 3.1 TO PURSUE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE, PRIMARILY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, AND IN PARTICULAR 3.2 TO OWN, MANAGE AND MAINTAIN COMMUNITY FACILITIES FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE AND/OR THOSE WHO, BY REASONS OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, HAVE NEED FOR SUCH FACILITIES; 3.3 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TRAINING AND RETRAINING, PARTICULARLY AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE; 3.4 TO PROMOTE PUBLIC SAFETY AND THE PREVENTION OF CRIME; 3.5 TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; 3.6 TO DEVELOP AND ENCOURAGE, FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE PHYSICAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND REGENERATION OF THE AREA BY BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS WITH ORGANISATIONS WITH SIMILAR AIMS, AND 3.7 TO RELIEVE POVERTY.
