Charitable objects

(1) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE COUNTY OF DEVON WITHOUT DISTINCTIONS OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE, POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID YOUNG PEOPLE WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN THE COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID YOUNG PEOPLE. (2) TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CENTRE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY, OTHER PERSON OR BODY) IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTIVES." (3) TO PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES RELATING TO AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG PEOPLE AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED
