Charitable objects
To provide facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents of Upper Hale as defined in the attached map and surrounding areas in the Borough of Waverley, Surrey, (hereinafter called ‘the area of benefit’) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and others organisations in a common effort to fulfil the following objectives: 1. provide relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through supporting economic and educational, aspirations by providing or assisting in the provision of facilities for activities that reflect these aspirations 2. advance community development through developing the capacity and skills of residents in the area of benefit in order that they are better able to identify, and meet their needs and to participate more fully in society through mutually identified activities 3. To establish, or secure the establishment of, a Community Centre (hereinafter called ‘the centre’) and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects; 4. To promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined by the trustees
