TO RELIEVE ELDERLY PEOPLE RESIDENT IN ENGLAND, SCOTLAND, WALES AND NORTHERN IRELAND, WHO ARE IN NEED, BY PROVIDING ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PERSONS IN ORDER TO ALLOW THOSE PERSONS TO LEAD A SECURE AND INDEPENDENT LIFE.
