The promotion of military efficiency by the provision of social, sporting and other facilities for the benefit of Servicemen and women. Esprit de corps and team work is promoted by enabling serving Mess members to mix together in both formal dining situations and informal social activities so as to help keep service traditions alive and encourage the well being of the mess community.
