The Band exists to promote, maintain, improve and advance education in the arts by the encouragement of the musical arts of the Scottish Bagpipes and Drums. It provides tuition to both ab initio, and improving, bagpipers and drummers, and gives public displays, at carnivals, concerts, and festivals by integrating piping and drumming in static and marching events
