Activities - how the charity spends its money
At the Playground we offer lots of activities including: Arts and crafts, outdoor games and sports, music, drama, holiday play schemes, residential and trips out. We also offer activities that encourage children to explore risk in a controlled environment, these include climbing, den building, using hand/garden tools, making swings and push go carts, building and cooking on fires.

Charitable objects
= TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND (HELP) CHILDREN / YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF PLAY ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (B) IN LINE WITH THE CHILDREN'S AND YOUNG PEOPLE PLAN WE AIM TO ENSURE THAT CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLES OPPORTUNITIES TO THRIVE AND REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL ARE IMPROVED BY THEIR ACCESS TO THIS PROJECT. = TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH PLAY ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. = TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF (14) LIVING IN (THE NORTH LOCALITY) BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF: (A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES; TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. (B) IMPROVING THE OUTCOMES OF EVERY CHILD AND YOUNG PERSON, IN LINE WITH THE EVERY CHILD MATTERS AGENDA AND THE 5 OUTCOMES. (C) PROVIDING PLAY ACTIVITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE NORTH LOCALITY. WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS?
