Charitable objects
(I) TO COLLECT AND COMPILE ORNITHOLOGICAL RECORDS WITHIN THE COUNTY OF NOTTINGHAMSHIRE; THESE TO BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL IF NECESSARY; (II) TO ASSIST IN ORGANISED FIELDWORK ACTIVITIES AND TO MAKE AVAILABLE APPROPRIATE INFORMATION GATHERED TO RECOGNISED CONSERVATION BODIES; (III) TO DEVELOP THE SOCITY'S ACTIVITIES AND TO PROMOTE GREATER AWARENESS WITHIN THE COUNTY, OF ITS EXISTENCE AND OF ITS ACTIVITIES; (IV) TO PROMOTE ACTIVE REPRESENTATION AND PARTICIPATION WITHIN THE MEMBERSHIP. TO PROMOTE PARTICIPATION AMONGST SCHOOL CHILDREN AND STUDENTS.
