THE RELIEF OF YOUNG CHILDREN , AGED 3-5 YEARS IN THE VILLAGE OF BUWENDA, UGANDA, AND ITS ENVIRONS, AND THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT TO THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS IN PARTICULAR BY; -PROVIDING A SAFE AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE CHILDREN OF BUWENDA, UGANDA, WITH LEARNING DISABILITY AND DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY - PROMOTING THE INDEPENDENCE AND RIGHTS OF THOSE CHILDREN -TO PROVIDE RESPITE CARE TO ENABLE THE FAMILIES OR CARERS TO PURSUE TRAINING, EMPLOYMENT OR OTHER WORTHWHILE ACTIVITIES -TO EDUCATE FAMILIES AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY ABOUT THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
