Activities - how the charity spends its money
Since the registration our Charity has started working towards achieving its objects.The charity now has Masjid Al Noor fully active and functioning; available for use by all for five times prayers. Masjid now has central heating and hot water facilities. Masjid building is now owned by the Trust- by virtue of a generous donation from Dhedhi's family. MCT is looking for a suitable resident Imam.

Charitable objects
(I) TO ADVANCE THE RELIGION OF ISLAM, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, PROMOTING THE TEACHINGS AND TENETS OF ISLAM, PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR WORSHIP AND PRAYER, PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR ISLAMIC EDUCATION AND PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR MARRIAGE AND BURIALS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE QUR'AN AND THE TEACHINGS OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE UPON HIM) AND THE SAHABAH-E-KERAAM (COMPANIONS); (II) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE POOR, THE UNDERPRIVILEGED AND PEOPLE IN NEED IN THE UK, PAKISTAN AND OTHER COUNTRIES DETERMINED FROM TIME TO TIME, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES, SUCH AS COMMUNITY LEARNING PROGRAMMES, LITERACY AND NUMERACY CLASSES, TUITION CLASSES AND SCHOLARSHIPS, AND THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES, SUCH AS SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES AND TRAINING CENTRES; (III) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE GOOD HEALTH AMONG THE POOR, UNDERPRIVILEGED AND PEOPLE IN NEED IN THE UK, PAKISTAN AND OTHER COUNTRIES DETERMINED FROM TIME TO TIME, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THE PROVISION OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF SERVICES, FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, CLINICS, MEDICINES OR GRANTS FOR MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT, AND PROVISION OF HEALTH EDUCATION; (IV) TO PROMOTE RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS HARMONY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN DIFFERENT RACIAL AND FAITH GROUPS, IN WAYS THAT CREATES TRUST, UNITY AND PEACE BETWEEN THEM; (V) TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS AND CAPACITY OF MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; (VI) TO PROMOTE ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF MUSLIMS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME MAY DETERMINE.
