The BWY is a membership based yoga organisation and organised into twelve regions. At the 31 October 2015 there were over 7200 subscribing members. BWY develops and delivers a portfolio of courses for class based and distance learning students. The BWY accredits 9 other yoga teacher training organisations and 3 Approved Yoga Centres.
