TO RELIEVE PERSONS OF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS (IRRESPECTIVE OF RACE, GENDER, RELIGION OR BELIEF) WHO ARE IN SITUATIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE VULNERABLE, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH HOMELESSNESS OR INADEQUATE HOUSING, BY PROVIDING FOOD AND ASSISTANCE IN FINDING SHELTER, AND BY SHARING THE LOVE OF GOD FOR ALL PEOPLE, REVEALING THE LORD'S HEART FOR THOSE WHO ARE POOR, HUNGRY AND OPPRESSED.
