Charitable objects
1.TO PROMOTE RESTORATIVE JUSTICE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS A MEANS OF RESOLVING CONFLICT AND PROMOTING RECONCILIATION BY: A)PROMOTING THE USE OF RESTORATIVE JUSTICE IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM, IN SCHOOLS, IN THE WORKPLACE AND ELSEWHERE IN THE COMMUNITY IN SITUATIONS WHERE CONFLICT MAY ARISE. B)ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ON RESTORATIVE JUSTICE AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF THAT RESEARCH. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF MIGRANT COMMUNITIES AND THEIR DEPENDANTS IN NEED THEREOF SO AS TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND ASSIST THEM TO ADAPT WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY. RESTORATIVE JUSTICE IS A PROCESS WHEREBY A) ALL THE PARTIES WITH A STAKE IN A PARTICULAR CONFLICT OR OFFENCE COME TOGETHER TO RESOLVE COLLECTIVELY HOW TO DEAL WITH ITS AFTERMATH AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR THE FUTURE, AND B) OFFENDERS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE IMPACT OF WHAT THEY HAVE DONE AND TO MAKE REPARATION, AND THE VICTIMS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THEIR HARM OR LOSS ACKNOWLEDGED AND AMENDS MADE.
