The Common Good Trust was established to to provide a trust for the common good of the Borough of Blackburn. It's purpose was to establish a trust and the Trustees would hold the capital and income of any money or other property received, for the trust to be used for any charitable purposes directed wholly or mainly to the benefit of the inhabitants of the Borough of Blackburn.
