Charitable objects
The objects of the Family Centre (FC) in the communities of Pembrey & Burry Port and surrounding districts and working in line with relevant legislation, including the Wellbeing and Future Generation legislation and Equalities Act are: a) The promotion of good health and wellbeing amongst the local community by providing support and advice to families, encouraging good parenting skills, healthy diets and social interaction between children. b) To provide a resource and advice centre, working bilingually with local authorities, voluntary organisations, residents and users in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare and education with the aims and objectives of improving the conditions of life for those living in the area of benefit. c) Provide facilities for recreation and other leisure activities for families with young children in the interests of social welfare with a view to improving conditions of life.
