TO PROTECT, PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY BY CARRYING OUT MEDICAL RESEARCH IN THE FIELD AND HELPING TO MAINTAIN AND RAISE STANDARDS OF CARE IN THE FIELD.
