THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO: 1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION FOR BENEFICIARIES; 2) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE DIRECTORS DECIDE. SUBJECT TO THE TERMS OF ANY SCHEME OR DIRECTION OR CONSENT OF THE CHARITY COMMISSION FIFTY PERCENT OF THE HOMES MUST BE USED FOR THE MERCHANT TAYLORS' BENEFICIARIES AND FIFTY PERCENT FOR THE CHRISTOPHER BOONE BENEFICIARIES.
