The charity activities consist of raising funds to support children and families who attend the Paediatric Cardiology Department of the University Hospital of Wales.The charity provides grants for hospital expenses to help parents and young people with cardiac related illnesses. It aims to create the Leon Montanari family support room at the Paediatric Cardiology department.

THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ATTEND THE PAEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF WALES BY THE PROVISION OF SMALL GRANTS TO HELP PARENTS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH CARDIAC RELATED ILLNESSES WITH HOSPITAL EXPENSES, CREATING AND SUPPORTING THE LEON MONTANARI FAMILY SUPPORT ROOM WHERE FAMILIES CAN HAVE A QUIET SPACE TO RELAX OFF THE WARD IN THE PAEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL OF WALES AND ASSISTING IN PLACING SMALL PIECES OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN THE HOME FOR CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX NEEDS DUE TO CARDIAC RELATED ILLNESSES WHEN THE NHS IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE FUNDING. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ATTEND THE SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT, SINGLETON HOSPITAL SWANSEA BY THE PROVISION OF SMALL GRANTS TO HELP PARENTS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH HOSPITAL EXPENSES AND ASSISTING IN PLACING SMALL PIECES OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN THE HOME FOR CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX NEEDS WHEN THE NHS IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE FUNDING. TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE AND THE PROMOTION OF THE WELLBEING OF DISABLED CHILDREN OR CHILDREN WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES OR CHILDREN WITH ACUTE AND/OR CHRONIC ILLNESSES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SMALL CAPITAL GRANTS TO CHARITIES IN SOUTH WALES.
