Charitable objects

OBJECT 1: TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING YOUNG ADULTS WHO ARE DISADVANTAGED BY REASON OF INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, AND IN THE COUNTRIES IN WHICH MCKINNEY ROGERS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED OPERATES, INTENDS TO OPERATE, OR HAS OPERATED, WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND DEVELOP BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY PROVIDING FUNDING FOR TRAINING, VOCATIONAL AND HIGHER EDUCATION COURSES. OBJECT 2: IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOUNDATION'S PRIMARY AIM, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG THE FAMILIES OF THE YOUNG ADULTS RECEIVING FUNDING FROM THE FOUNDATION, BY PROVIDING THEM WITH GRANTS FOR THE PROVISION OF BASIC FOOD AND OTHER KEY SUPPLIES FOR THE DURATION OF THE YOUNG ADULT'S EDUCATION.
