The Hick Charitable Trust is focussed on supporting Communities, Families, Individuals, Children and the Courageous both nationally and internationally through grants to charities and directly to specific projects. The Trustees have identified a number of projects they plan to support over the next 2 years and whilst they may receive requests ,they do not have the resources to acknowledge them

Charitable objects
THE TRUSTEES MUST APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN FURTHERING THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS: THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF WAR OR NATURAL DISASTER, TROUBLE, OR CATASTROPHE IN PARTICULAR BY THE SUPPLY OF MEDICAL AID TO SUCH PERSONS. TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS AND POOR HEALTH AMONGST ELDERLY PEOPLE, DISABLED PEOPLE AND ORPHANED AND DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN. TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILLNESS OR DISABILITY OF ANY DESCRIPTION OR IN NEED OF REHABILITATION AS A RESULT OF SUCH CONDITION, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR WORK AND RECREATION TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL SPORTS AND SPORTING ACTIVITIES TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THE PATIENTS IN HOSPITALS AND HOSPICES BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES & ANCILLARY TO THOSE PROVIDED BY THE DOCTORS TO RELIEVE PEOPLE WHO ARE ELDERLY OR DISABLED RESIDENT IN THE BRITISH ISLES AND OVERSEAS BY THE PROVISIONS OF CARERS AND BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND TRAINING TO SUCH CARERS. ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS; TO SAVE LIVES, PROMOTE SAFETY AND PROVIDE RELIEF FOR DISASTER AT SEA AND INLAND WATERS BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS, ORGANISATIONS AND REGISTERED CHARITIES WORKING IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS PURPOSE. TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF THOSE SERVING OR WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS, ORGANISATIONS AND REGISTERED CHARITIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS PURPOSE. ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
