4.1 THE ASSISTANCE AND BENEFIT OF INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM THE EFFECTS OF CHRONIC ILLNESS WHO ARE LIVING AT HOME AND THEIR DEPENDANTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO BENEFICIARIES TO HELP THEM IN ANY WAY TOWARDS LIVING NORMAL LIVES IN THEIR HOMES OR ELSEWHERE INCLUDING GRANTS FOR MECHANICAL OR OTHER EQUIPMENT HOUSING FURNISHINGS HOLIDAYS TRAVEL MAINTENANCE SETTLEMENT OF DEBTS VOCATIONAL OR OTHER TRAINING OR FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE; AND 4.2 TO RELIEVE NEED, DISTRESS AND HARDSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
