Activities - how the charity spends its money
We raise funds in the UK to support partners in the development and delivery of palliative care in Kenya. We work closely with the Kenya Hospice and Palliative Care Association and local organisatioins. Due dilligence and monitoring is carried out on all grants. Recent grant funding has been for children's palliaive care projects, gender disparity projects, home care, training & morphine.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY (THE "OBJECTS") ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF KENYA WHICH ARE DIRECTED TOWARDS: 1) THE TREATMENT, CARE AND COUNSELLING OF PERSONS WHO ARE TERMINALLY ILL WITH CANCER OR OTHER INCURABLE DISEASES AND THE COUNSELLING OF THEIR FAMILIES AND CLOSE ASSOCIATES; 2) THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH TREATMENT, CARE AND COUNSELLING; AND 3) THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND EXTENSION OF HOSPICES IN KENYA AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT.
