THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: TO PROMOTE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, THE EFFICIENCY OF THE POLICE BY: (A) PROVIDING FUNDING TO ANY OR ALL POLICE FORCES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES OF PROCURING AND TRAINING THE NUMBERS OF DETECTION OR GENERAL PURPOSE DOGS THEY REQUIRE, TO BRING THEIR DOG UNITS UP TO FULL OPERATIONAL STRENGTH; (B) PROVIDING FUNDING TO TRAIN POLICE DOG HANDLERS UP TO INSTRUCTOR LEVEL WHERE NECESSARY, TO ACQUIRE AND DISSEMINATE THAT EXPERTISE AMONG THEIR OWN UNITS; (C) PROVIDING SIMILAR SERVICES TO POLICE FORCES OF OVERSEAS COUNTRIES; (D) RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE VITAL WORK THAT THE POLICE DOG UNITS CARRY OUT ON A DAILY BASIS.
