THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO ADVANCE ALL CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR: 2.1 TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES BY ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: 2.1.1 ASSISTING IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF FUNDING PROGRAMMES TO CHARITIES, MONITORING FOR GRANTS, RECOMMENDING GRANTS, ASSISTING IN APPLICATIONS FOR GRANTS; 2.1.2 PROVIDING SERVICES SUCH AS LEGAL, ACCOUNTANCY, MANAGEMENT, INVESTMENT AND FUNDRAISING ADVICE SERVICES TO CHARITIES; 2.1.3 PROVIDING ADVICE AND INFORMATION ON FUND-RAISING TECHNIQUES APPROPRIATE FOR CHARITIES; 2.1.4 ADVISING INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES ON CHARITABLE GIVING AND ENCOURAGING EMPLOYEES TO PARTICIPATE IN CHARITABLE WORKS; 2.1.5 PROVIDING DATABASES OR DIRECTORIES AS TOOLS TO ADVANCE CHARITABLE PURPOSES; AND 2.1.6 SUCH OTHER APPROPRIATE MEANS AGREED BY THE TRUSTEES AS MAY FURTHER THIS OBJECT; 2.2 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE SUBJECT OF CHARITY AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH BY ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: 2.2.1 PROVIDING CONFERENCES, LECTURES AND SEMINARS ON SUBJECTS RELATING TO CHARITY; 2.2.2 COLLECTING, COLLATING AND PUBLISHING STUDIES ON THE SUBJECT OF CHARITY INTERNATIONALLY AND FROM DIFFERENT CULTURES; 2.2.3 UNDERTAKING, COMMISSIONING AND PUBLISHING RESEARCH INTO CHARITY; 2.2.4 MAKING GRANTS, BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS OR OTHER AWARDS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS AND ACADEMICS FOR THE STUDY OF CHARITY; 2.2.5 SUCH OTHER APPROPRIATE MEANS AGREED BY THE TRUSTEES AS MAY FURTHER THIS OBJECT.
