The object of the Company is to advance the education for the public benefit about Scarborough's maritime history through the development of the Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre for the education and display of artefacts and archives. Activities include archive work, library collections, education talks and demonstrations, collation of artefacts and related material, for the public benefit.
