Activities - how the charity spends its money
The aim of the RAF Theatrical Association (RAFTA) is to improve theatre in the RAF. To do this, RAFTA: *Holds an annual One Act Play Festival (improvement through competition). *Runs a 'Project' every 2 years, putting on a show in a professional theatre. *Runs drama courses and workshops for its members. *Critiques shows put on by its member clubs to offer tips for improvement (adjudication).

3. THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE: A. TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE RAF AND THE OTHER ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN BY THE ENHANCEMENT OF MORALE OF SERVICE PERSONNEL THROUGH: (1) THE MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF THEATRE CLUBS; AND (2) THE ORGANISATION, MANAGEMENT, SUPPORT AND PROVISION OF THEATRICAL EVENTS AND FESTIVALS; AND (3) SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME. B. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF THEATRE AND TO DEVELOP THE PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN DRAMATIC ARTS BY THE PERFORMANCE OF THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS AND SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE FROM TO TIME.
