Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA AND OTHER DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, IN PARTICULAR IN THE NORTH BANK REGION OF THE GAMBIA, THROUGH PROVIDING, MAINTAINING AND EQUIPPING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH MATERIALS AND FACILITIES, ENSURING THAT THE STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS OF ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY ARE NOT RELIEVED. (2) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA AND OTHER DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, IN PARTICULAR IN THE NORTH BANK REGION OF THE GAMBIA, AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
