Activities - how the charity spends its money
East Finchley Community Trust operates within the area of East Finchley post code N2 and close surrounding areas. We undertake a number of projects in line with our objectives throughout the year. Currently the Trust hosts and supports the Friends of Market Place Playground, runs a pollinator trail project throughout our area of benefit and holds the funds for the East Finchley Town Team.

Charitable objects
OBJECTS 4. THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT WITHIN THE AREA OF FINCHLEY AND SURROUNDING AREA WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET WITH THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS:- THE PROMOTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF URBAN REGENERATION IN AREAS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION AND IN PARTICULAR IN FINCHLEY BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: (A) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; (B) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR RETRAINING, PARTICULARLY AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE, AND PROVIDING UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE WITH WORK EXPERIENCE; (C) THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT OR PROVISION OF PUBLIC AMENITIES AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT; (D) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE OR THOSE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES; (E) THE PROTECTION OR CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT; (F) THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND PREVENTION OF CRIME; (G) SUCH OTHER MEANS AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED SUBJECT TO THE PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS FOR ENGLAND AND WALES.
