EDUCATE AND INSPIRE FUTURE GENERATIONS ON THE ROLE OF WW2 ESCAPE LINES. PROMOTE THE RETRACE OF WW2 ESCAPE LINES. RECOGNISE THE ROLE OF THE LOCAL HELPERS WHO ASSISTED ALLIED SERVICE PERSONNEL AND OTHERS WHO HAD EVADED CAPTURE OR ESCAPED FROM CAPTURE AND GUIDE THEM BACK TO FREEDOM. PROVIDE RELIEF FOR HELPERS WHO ARE NOW IN NEED THEMSELVES. PROMOTE HUMANITY AND INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING.
