RAISES AWARENESS OF A RARE CANCER TYPE, PSEUDOMYXOMA PERITONEI, WHICH AFFECTS AROUND THREE OR FOUR PEOPLE PER MILLION EACH YEAR WORLDWIDE. AWARENESS IS RAISED THROUGH LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGNS, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A WEBSITE AND THROUGH LEAFLETS. WE AIM TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP RELIEVE THE EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL STRESS OF THIS RARE DIAGNOSIS AND TO RAISE FUNDS INTO RESEARCH.
