Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE ACCESS TO AND ENJOYMENT OF THE OPEN SPACE AT THE QUEEN ELIZABETH OLYMPIC PARK AND ITS USE FOR LEISURE SPORT RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND THE WIDER PUBLIC. TO ADVANCE THE ARTS AND CULTURE AT THE PARK AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: (A) THE ACQUISITION AND DISPLAY OF ART WITHIN THE PARK AND SURROUNDING AREA; AND (B) THE PRESENTATION OF AND SUPPORT FOR PERFORMANCES, EXHIBITIONS, EDUCATION PROGRAMMES AND EVENTS AND THE UNDERTAKING OF OTHER ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE PARK AND SURROUNDING AREA. TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AT THE PARK AND SURROUNDING AREA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: (A) THE PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE MEANS OF ACHIEVING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND REGENERATION IN AND AROUND THE PARK; (B) THE PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE PARK AND THE PRUDENT USE OF ITS RESOURCES; IN THIS ARTICLE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT MEANS DEVELOPMENT WHICH MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE ABILITY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS. TO EDUCATE, ENGAGE AND INFORM LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND THE WIDER PUBLIC ABOUT THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE HERITAGE OF THE PARK AND THE ROLE AND VALUE OF THE PARK TO SOCIETY.
