FOR THE PURPOSES OF ADVANCING PUBLIC EDUCATION BY PROMOTING AND IMPROVING THE ARTS OF DRAMA BALLET OPERA MUSIC AND THE CINEMA OR ANY OF THEM AND OF STIMULATING PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF SUCH ARTS OR ANY OF THEM AND GENERALLY IN THE CULTIVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC TASTE IN THE SAID ARTS OR ANY OF THEM BY MEANS INTER ALIA OF THE ERECTION AND ENDOWMENT OF A THEATRE OR THEATRES IN THE MANCHESTER AREA.
