THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE: (1) TO PROMOTE HORTICULTURE AND FLORICULTURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO LIVE IN OR VISIT HAVERHILL BY THE PROVISION OF FLORAL DISPLAYS, SHRUBS, TREES AND LANDSCAPES IN PLACES VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC AND BY THE PROMOTION OF FLORAL COMPETITIONS AND CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.
