Charitable objects
3 Application of income The Trustees must apply the income of the Charity in furthering the following objects (“the objects”) which shall be for the public bene?t in the Burkina Faso area of West Africa:- (i) to preserve and protect good health by providing finance for the drilling of wells and the provision of clean water and to ensure wells are maintained and in working order; (ii) to advance education by providing assistance to schools, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of equipment and supplies for schools; and (iii) to relieve ?nancial hardship by supporting small agricultural/horticultural projects; and (iv) to advance religion by passing on gifts for the purchase of Christian literature, including bibles, to churches where poverty makes it impossible for local people to buy them; and (v) to prevent and relieve poverty and further other charitable purposes (specifically, the social relief, resettlement and rehabilitation of persons under a disability or deprivation) by passing on gifts for the relief of suffering caused by terrorist activity (and consequent population migration), drought or other natural disaster.
