We believe that people are the church and that the people in the local church can work effectively in the local community to demonstrate God's love to that community. The local church governs itself and with support from the local churches, local Baptist Churches and regional/national Baptist leaders.

2 PURPOSE THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE BAPTIST DENOMINATION. THE CHURCH MAY ALSO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND CARRY OUT OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND/OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.
