Charitable objects
4 The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following: (1) The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit by focusing on people who are socially excluded, by providing them with an opportunity to build capacity through employment or by establishing and growing a business, and through harnessing the community strength of North Lambeth by providing or assisting in the provision of support, including access to housing, to enable this and so to relieve the needs of those people and assist them to integrate into society; (For the purposes of this sub-clause 'socially excluded' means primarily 'people between 18 to 35 years of age who are excluded from society, or parts of society and in particular but not exclusively ex-offenders, as a result of one or more of the following factors: unemployment, financial hardship poor educational or skills attainment, or who are within, or have experienced, the public care or penal system '); and (2) To further or benefit the people of North Lambeth without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents to support healthy living and lifestyle options in a common effort to improve the conditions of life for the community.
