Street Pastors is an inter-denominational church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue. As with all the local Street Pastor projects, Richmond Street Pastors operates locally with the assistance of Ascension Trust, local churches and community groups, in partnership with Police, Council and other statutory bodies.

Charitable objects
(1) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES BY SUCH MEANS AS THE DIRECTORS MAY CONSIDER APPROPRIATE IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE DIRECTORS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT AND TO FULFIL SUCH OTHER PURPOSES WHICH ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AND ARE CONNECTED WITH THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHARITY. (2) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE GOOD HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF FUNDS, GOOD OR SERVICES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING THROUGH THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE DIRECTORS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. (3) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LICENSE AGREEMENT EXECUTED WITH ASCENSION TRUST AND THE CORE VALUES APPEARING IN ARTICLE 60 IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR OF THE WORLD AS THE DIRECTORS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY MEANS OF CARING, LISTENING AND HELPING PEOPLE ON THE STREETS AND AT VARIOUS VENUES DAY AND NIGHT.
